PUPPIES!!!

I know I know, lots of photos in this one, but they are of my 3 favourite dogs. My Parent's boarder collie Molly, and my brother's two pups, Rasia (the husky) and Lakey (the beagle). Lakey and Rasia are big double makers, they'll dig a small hole to the neighbours yard where their dog leaves his toys so that Lakey can sneak over there grab them and sneak back. I tell ya, they're smarter than they look. Molly on the other hand is happy to just play Frisbee all day.

Wisconsin Farms

Wisconsin has always been the dairy state no matter what California might otherwise wish, but in the last generation we've been loosing family farms to large corporations. However when traveling down the highway, you can still find quiet a few. It's good to see that so many are still able to run. Good luck Wisconsin farmers!

Chippewa Falls Zoo Part 2

Here are the rest. In the summer my parents church meets here. After the service many people use to stay to walk through the zoo or have a picnic. It is a treasured place. A few times my brother me and the neighbourhood kids found orphaned ducks. We would try to take care of them for a while and when they got to be too big, we'd take them to the zoo. It was always nice to be able to go back and visit them. Turns  out quiet a few people did that around town.

The local Chippewa Falls Zoo Part 1

We are a small town, Chippewa Falls, but we have a zoo. Maybe not the best, or the biggest, but at one time we had a Zores, and now we have a zebra, two even. It's quaint, but it's ours. I hope you enjoy the photos.

Just some of the birds by my parents place

There has been a bald eagles nest near the river for a number of years now. It's always fun to stop by and see the "kids".

The robins appear to be vain creatures. They love to take baths and will even chase the other birds away in order to spend more time in the tub.

Not all the other birds are happy about having to wait their turn... Also the robins are taking a bath in their drinking water, I would be upset too!

The University of Minnesota Minneapolis

I had a great time the other week hanging out at the University of Minnesota with my Aussie friends. It was suppose to rain so I had packed extra socks, but instead we had three gorgeous days!

Love the walk from Augsburg to the UofM

These might be my favourite so far from the trip!

You never know what you'll find

At Augsburg you never know what you'll find.

From the Airport to Augsburg...

From the airport I could already see Minneapolis!

I love the new light rail that they have and I can't wait till it expands!

Some of the stations were quite artistic

I remember coming to one of the mills and watching a dance on the side of the building. So cool to see that they have kept the artistic flare!

The view from the bridge to Augsburg. Down town Minneapolis is just a stones throw away

Oh the memories of living in those two buildings... I hope the photos have been destroyed or lost!
