The shoot out cont.

The producer and the clapper... Can you tell which is which?

Zombie Paridiso

The link to the movie is now up on You tube, but you can see it here. You can't see my face ever, but I'm there. I have made my film debut, but I still think my life long goal is to be the lead cow bell in a band.

The Shoot out cont.

The guys were very interested to know what it felt like to have hair, and they seemed to become attached to them...

Photos and shooting never stopped.

More from the shoot out

There were some great lines through out the night. On the walk to the cars I overheard, "I feel dressed down, I need more black spandex"

It got silly quickly between the lack of sleep, the excitement, and a few too many coffees. Here is a look at our first location.

With the parade of wigs and cameras in hand, Tim and Alysha were ready to capture anything with the quote "there is no lion too wild, no antelope to quick, no native to naked..."

More to come.

Early morning surf

After the shoot out was done filming, we stayed up for an early morning sunrise shoot. I couldn't believe that the surfers we up that early and also willing to endure the cold.

The Shoot Out

So we are done shooting for the Shoot out, and I pretty much just woke up from my day of sleep/recovery. Here are some of the highlights. There were lots of people, many wigs, and zombies. Yes I got to be a zombi, no make up just a hood, but still a zombi ohhhhhhh

Science is the Key to our future

... Or so I believe. Science promotes education (it is if anything continuous learning), helps find cures and prevention to diseases, helps make our lives more comfortable, helps us communicate with more people more quickly then ever before, and it can help prevent, and predict disasters (maybe not perfectly but we are working on that) as well as many other applications. Where would we be with out innovation and science? We wouldn't have tang or velcro with out the space program, and every field of science has given us technologies that we use today, or help by forecasting; i.e. weather, space phenomena, stock markets, drug release and decay times.

With the US presidential election coming up, it is important to know where the candidates (as well as our congress men and women and senators) stand on promoting and funding science, as well as their views on science in general. Please help the Science Debate team by signing their petition. They have come up with 14 questions for the presidential candidates and 7 questions for the congressional representatives. This is an exciting election for many reasons, but lets not allow the politicians to only give us sound bites, lets make sure they understand the state of the world, the state of our country, and have thoughtful, insightful, well comprised answers.

P.S. Sorry about the writing, this is why I put up photos instead.

Black and White conversions

I've always like black and white, but I'm not that great at it, here are some first tries.

I got up early the other weekend, it was hard, but possibly worth it.
